Miller Signs was started in 1994 by Kris Best-Miller to offer customers airbrushed items such as t-shirts, caps, and sweatshirts. It was originally called Air Radical Designs and was based out of her home 10 miles southeast of Kearney, NE. The business was a little different than most sign businesses as it had a graphic designer as the owner.
As time went on she started offering some products usually found in the sign industry. It first started out offering the airbrushed items but also starting working on banners, vehicle graphics, and small signs. In 1997, Kris decided it was time to let the business grow. She moved the business into Kearney near a location that she currently has. After a short while she also changed the business name to Miller Signs to reflect that she does more than just airbrushing which her original name constituted. In 1999 the business moved to 2515 Grand Avenue in Kearney.
By 2008 Miller Signs had outgrown the green building and relocated to their larger, current location at 2520 Ave Q.
Today the business keeps growing to better serve our clients. In order to get your order out in a timely fashion, we have added more employees and offer more products/services. We currently have 3 full-time employees and one part-time employee. They combine for more than 50 years of experience in the design and print industry.
At Miller Signs, our goal is to help your creative dreams become a reality in the fastest and cheapest way possible. With this in mind you can always expect us to give you the fairest pricing, the fastest service, and only the finest quality of work.
If for some reason you are ever unhappy with a project we’ve worked on, we encourage you to get in touch with us as soon as possible. We want you to be as happy with the final product as we are and we’ll always make it right for you in the end.
We love our customers and what we do. When a person comes in to begin working with us, we expect them to treat us with the same personal and professional courtesies as they would with any other small business: prompt payments, timely responses to correspondence, and a willingness to be open to our creative input are all we really ask.
Projects costing more than $1000 we require 1/2 down before beginning production and the remainder upon completion.
Any project needed with less than a week’s notice will be a charged a $50 rush fee, no exceptions. It takes a lot of work to create our products and we need fair notice to give us proper time to allocate materials and designs to make your project great.
We bill you once we have completed your project.
Payment is expected within 30 days after the date of billing.
Payments not received within 90 days of initial billing period will be turned over to a collection agency.
